An opportunity has opened in ooba's home loans division for a sales expert to grow market share in new developments in support of ooba's national developer acquisition strategy.
The role will report into ooba's Head of Sales and may be based in either Gauteng or Cape Town.
Required Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge:
- Relevant tertiary-level qualification (experience will be considered in lieu of a tertiary qualification)
- A minimum of 5 years’ relevant sales experience
- An established personal network within the real estate and property development sectors in South Africa
- A proven track record of business growth
- Experience and confidence in managing developer contract negotiations

Key Performance Areas:
- Conduct market analysis to benchmark and grow ooba's market share in the new property developments segment.
- Source developer/development leads on a national basis.
- Present the ooba developer offering in conjunction with provincial sales managers.
- Negotiate and secure new developer contracts.
- Draft and deliver development proposals and contracts.
- Follow up outstanding contracts issued with regional sales managers & developers.
- Track and manage actual vs projected volumes in conjunction with sales managers to maximize the revenue potential in each development.
- Plan, track and manage budget and expenditure.
- Report monthly progress and growth made in the new development market segment.
- Work with sales leadership to continually enhance ooba's value proposition to developers.
